An Urn, a Necklace, or a Special Place: Honoring Your Loved One

An Urn, a Necklace, or a Special Place: Honoring Your Loved OneWhen your loved one has passed on, you want to be sure that that person's end of life journey is celebrated and honored. For most people, that includes a traditional ground burial, marked by the offering of flowers and a placed monument. However, if traditional burial isn't what you or your loved one would have wanted, there are other options available, including cremation. If you or your loved one has decided on cremation, there are plenty of ways that you can still honor his or her memory without having to go through a traditional burial ceremony.

One of those ways is to place your loved one's ashes in a cremation urn that celebrates something special about that person. At, we carry a variety of urns that act as tributes to your loved one in a way that is beautiful, moving, and respectful. Made out of natural materials like wood or classic marble or stone, urns can be a wonderful way for you to preserve the memory of your loved one after he or she has passed on. Once the body has been cremated and placed into the cremation urn, you can choose to display it in a special place, have it entombed, or can bury it.

Or, if you're not sure if keeping your loved one's remains in an urn is the right choice, there's also the option of scattering the ashes in a place that was special to you or that person. In many cases, ashes are scattered over bodies of water, in fields, on mountains, or in areas that held great memory for a loved one.

Also, if you feel that you don't want to keep all of that person's ashes in an urn, you can also choose to take some of those ashes and have them preserved beautifully in a piece of cremation jewelry. offers an extensive line of classic jewelry pieces that can be filled with your loved one's ashes so that you can always feel connected to that special person.
